I’ve read a great number of books on this subject and it all makes a whole lot of sense. But taking the red pill seems to take time. The old ways of thinking fight to stay alive.

It’s the more difficult path, or at least it seems so at this point. Feeling bad and complaing is easy and comes natural. Placing blame is easy. But accountability is really tough.

My wife and I have been developing along this path for some time now. It has worked wonders for us. It does work. But it is work.

Great write. This is far from hogwash or hocus-pocus. I can identify with Fred especially in wanting to obtain the freedom to do what I want to do most and that’s spend more time with my family. I agree with you in there being power in secrets – I have a few of my own. One of them I just have to share though (don’t worry, it won’t lose its power). Have you ever heard of James D. Brausch or his Freedom Business System? The philosophy is similar in that which you speak of here. It talks about capturing that elusive freedom and getting rid of the negative things that “Bob” came into contact with. I highly recommend it. It will help anyone become more like “Fred” and less like “Bob”.
