Finding The Magic Pill For Unlimited Income Online

May 2nd, 2008 8 Comments

Online Riches blue pillOne thing that makes the marketing of information so popular on the internet is the quest for the “magic pill” mindset. 98% of those who are looking for information, especially in the areas of self-improvement, internet business, marketing, weight loss, etc., tend to make their purchases based on the hope that somehow this info will magically take care of everything for them. If any new skill sets can be absorbed by osmosis, all the better.

In the movie “The Matrix”, Morpheus offers Neo either the blue pill or the red pill. If he takes the blue pill, everything will remain the same. He will continue on with his relatively comfortable life as he knows it, but never achieve his true destiny. If he takes the red pill, however, then the illusion of reality will be lifted and he will learn the secrets of the Matrix. It will not be a comfortable, easy transformation. All the brainwashing and comfortable false security will be gone. See any parallels?

In my own personal observations, I’ve noticed that people generally want the best of both pills. They want the comfort of the blue pill, remaining stagnant and unchanged. At the same time, they want the results of taking the red pill.

This is one reason why prescription drugs are such a huge market. For example, many people with high blood pressure would rather pop a pill every day for the rest of their lives, rather than make a lifestyle change and cure the root cause of the problem. This would require effort. A deviation from the comfortable pattern that we have molded for ourselves into.

This is the very thing that you have to consider for your online business! Even after taking the red pill, Neo had to take action and work to fulfill his destiny as “the one”. Once he understood the matrix, he could have simply lived out his life in obscurity in his new found world and died an unknown.

When you purchase that needed tool for your current business, or that course on how to build an internet business online, remember, if its good information, you may be getting the red pill, or at least some diluted form of it. Now its up to you to act on your new knowledge, and fulfill your destiny.

The secret to success is that there is no magic pill that will do it all for you. There is no system that will allow you to input nothing and get millions back out. The real secret, the real magic pill is action. Get a mentor. Learn all you can about being successful and then apply it.

If you’re an info junkie, then you may already have a goldmine of information just collecting pixel dust in your hard drive. Dust off those e-books, go back through them, but this time ACT on what you read. Getting a successful internet business off the ground takes work. It takes dedication. Don’t let anyone B.S. you into thinking that it doesn’t.

With that said, its really not that hard once you take action and start making those baby steps towards your new future. You must start by having a “take action” mindset as your biggest priority. Now build your business, stick with it even through the failures, and freedom will be yours.

What Inspires You To Succeed In Internet Business?

March 6th, 2008 4 Comments

tingtingChances are that if you are reading this post, that you either enjoy a successful internet business, or that you are aspiring to build one. We all have different reasons for wanting to succeed in internet business. One of the biggest reasons for me is shown in the picture on the left. This is my wife, Tingting. This is an outtake from one of our wedding pictures. We were married in Beijing, China on June 27th, 2005. Having the freedom to spend time with my wife and creating great memories to carry with us into our old age is my most significant driving force to succeeding online. Having 10 hours a day robbed from us by an employer for the next 25 to 30 years is not my idea of a fulfilling life.

Today we went to the doctor’s office for an ultrasound. Tingting is now into 32 weeks and 6 days of her pregnancy. This is also my prime reason for success. Building memories will include our son Kevin. Yes, it’s a boy! We actually picked out his name in 2005. We had also chosen a girl’s name as well, of course. He should be arriving into the world around May 1st. Here’s a pic of today’s ultrasound. I highlighted and enlarged Kevin to make it easier to distinguish his facial features.

So, my question is, what is your inspiration for success? I am curious about what drives you to succeed. Is it the desire for freedom from a dead end J.O.B. and a slave driving boss? To enjoy life with your family? Or something else altogether? Leave a comment and share your story. I’d like to hear from you. :)

Keeping The Motivation

February 29th, 2008 4 Comments

motivation techniquesGetting oneself motivated can be one of the biggest challenges that an internet business owner can face. A natural asset that successful people possess is self-discipline and the ability to motivate oneself and others. It takes discipline to resist distractions, to focus on your business and to keep building your business without losing momentum.

Most of the population is conditioned to be led by others. As a baby, naturally you are taken care of and supervised by your parents. When you start school, you are trained to follow a regimen and a predefined set of rules. This continues on into college and the workplace. Some are born leaders and most are followers. Being a follower is more comfortable. The master doles out the orders and the slave carries them out. The slave is rewarded for good work and is granted the privilege of remaining as a valued slave. But if the slave realizes that he/she wants their freedom and in fact declares their freedom, there are years of programming that need to be undone.

Having your hours dictated as to when you set the alarm clock, how long you will work, what your duties are, when to take a lunch break. It’s all part of the life long programming that has been ingrained from day one to get you groomed as a good student, and eventually, a good employee. Don’t feel that I’m knocking being a good student or a good employee. I’m just saying that this type of programming makes self discipline and self motivation a bigger challenge as opposed to those who think independently and have great problem solving skills.

So what about the Bart Simpsons? The underachievers? If you fall into this category, you are pretty much screwed until you come face to face with your negative and self-defeating beliefs. You must then deal with them head on to replace them with positive ones. Simply saying positive affirmations when you “know” inside that you’re not smart enough or good enough won’t cut it. Thinking that you’re not good enough is simply a belief and not a fact. Our reality is based on our beliefs, so therefore, they are very real factors as to where we are in our lives. Beliefs cannot be masked over with affirmations, they must be dealt with and eliminated. I was given an awesome eBook by its author that delves more deeply on this subject. I will be sharing my thoughts on this in a future post.

Ok for the rest of us. One of the biggest motivation killers that I know of is mentally over filling your task list. Let’s say that you’re not in a J.O.B. and you allocate a full 8 hours a day to your business. You have about 50 things in mind that you want to do. You’re not even sure where to start, so when the phone rings, or an email comes in, you jump at the chance. Now you’re involved in something. It’s not building your business, but you’re busy. You feel a sense of accomplishment because you were busy all day with emails, studying other peoples’ drivel in the forums as to why internet business doesn’t work. You were just a busy guy! (or gal!).

So what was really happening here? You’re mind didn’t want to deal with the mountainous tasks that you assigned your self, so when you were offered an easier, “flatter” road, your mind jumped on it! When you’re schedule is dictated to you by an employer, it is broken down into sequential tasks. Not only are we programed for this, but its also a logical, profitable, and practical way to approach things. Why fight a lifetime of programming when you can use it to your advantage? Set up your own schedule. Write down your goals to accomplish tomorrow every day. Break big goals into smaller sections. Now allocate less hours per day to working. Huh? Yes I said LESS hours to working and stick to it. When your time is up, walk away whether you want to or not. Why? Because with a shorter workday, you will force yourself to focus on building your business. You will eliminate distractions because you know that your time is valuable and limited to this time slot. This is also a great way to build self-discipline. It takes discipline to walk away too.

Take your business seriously. Often times because one is selling on eBay, or just starting out with a single product, or affiliate marketing, its easy to develop the “hobby” mindset. If you really want your freedom, you have to make this your escape vehicle! Take it very seriously. Treat it as the most important thing to you, your family, and your future that there is! What can possibly be more important than financial freedom and having the quality time to spend with your spouse & kids? Do you want your kids to grow up remembering their parents as someone they saw a couple hours a day between rushing to work and then watching TV afterwards before plopping down to bed to repeat the same formula the next day? Or would you prefer that they remember you always being there for them. Having the time to be involved in their lives and free from the stress of everyday “paycheck to paycheck” lifestyle, like wondering how to pay the next outrageous gas bill next month? Yes, this is serious biz!

During your quiet time, like when you’re waking up in the morning, take time to think of new ideas for increasing your business, or new products. Just let your mind wander. Keep a notepad and a pen near your bed so that you can write down the ideas that excite you. Your mind is fresh in the morning giving you greater clarity for creativity. Although, night time is good too as you drift your way to dream land. The only hitch is that it gets more difficult to write your ideas down as you get more tired. It’s a great feeling to see your ideas turn into something real. Not every idea will be a winner either. That’s just life. Your favorite baseball team isn’t going to win every game. Just go for it, even if you’re not sure it will be a winner. Your ideas put into action are long term investments in your business. The winners can pay off for a lifetime.

A Parallel Reality?

February 18th, 2008 1 Comment

Back in my TV days I used to enjoy a show called “Sliders”. The main character Quinn developed a device that would open a portal between parallel Earths. Quinn, Professor Arturo (his teacher) and a couple others took a trip through one of these portals to a parallel existence. Unfortunately, they couldn’t seem to figure out how to get back to their original reality. There were millions of parallel existences. Probably (and theoretically) because every time you make a decision, you create another quantum path into what is perceived as time. BTW - “Layer” is actually more accurate than “path” since all past & future are really the present. Do I really have you confused now?

The reason that I’m bringing all this up is because I’d like you to do a mental exercise which I believe can help you pull your desired future into reality. If you’re already in the reality that you desire, then this can help you stay here.

Let’s say that you’re currently stuck in a 9 to 5 J.O.B. , you have an overbearing boss with an ego the size of Texas who makes you feel worthless even though all you do all day is work your tail off for half of what you should be paid. It’s theoretically possible that there could be countless parallel realities that you are existing in at this very moment based on all the possible decisions that you have made throughout each day. This is a multidimensional concept so don’t boggle your 3-D mind too much over it.

Ok, so you’re stuck in this J.O.B. that you hate and somewhere along side your present life is a you that is enjoying the success of a thriving internet business. This is the “you” that decided to take action last year when you were first contemplating the idea. This is the “you” that stopped wasting time surfing the forums, watching TV and checking email every 10 minutes. This version of you went down a different path. Where did this path come from? It was formed out of a simple decision. A decision to take action and break out of the cycle that you have come to dislike so much.

Now take a moment and look back to the time that you first started contemplating starting your own internet business. Now start moving forward to around the time that you can remember not taking the action that you would have. Maybe you sat down to create an internet business blog and got distracted by a phone call, email, or meteor strike. Now picture yourself not going off course at that point in time. This time, in your mind’s eye, you cut your call short so that you could get back to work. In fact, you unplugged the phone afterwards. Now think about the result that came out of that. Think about what your parallel self did the next day. Step yourself through each day seeing one build upon another. Picture the results from the previous days as you progress forward to the present. Chances are that your are “remembering” your parallel past. Take notes. Now that you’ve retraced your steps, go ahead and follow them again in this reality. It worked before, why not again? Your mind is a profoundly powerful thing. Remember, because of this wonderful gift that’s a part of all of us, entire futures can be carved out with a single thought to create it, followed by action to make it reality.

Some Ramblings About My Recent History

February 14th, 2008 5 Comments

I was thinking back on some of the things that first inspired me to start an internet business back in late 2005.  One of my motivating factors besides freedom was getting rid of my various forms of debt.  At the time I had two credit cards totaling around $10,000.  My student loans were another major source of debt that was draining my account every month.  I’ve never been a real fan of having debts lying around and it really irritated me that I allowed myself to build up this debt.  Sure, it was relatively small compared to many people, but when you’re living paycheck to paycheck with little to nothing (sometimes a negative balance) at the end of the week, even the "smaller" debt load is a biggie.

Here’s what my first strategy was in my quest for getting into the internet business game.  I created little mini sites made just for zapping certain areas of my debt.  Initially, I created PlayKillerGuitar.com as my credit card zapper.  My monthly payments totaled around $350 a month.  So if I could generate a minimum of $350 a month, then I would have the credit cards covered.  The AmazingCloaker was designated as my "student loan zapper".  If I could generate a modest $300 a month, I would have them covered.  For other miscellaneous debts I created landing pages for CPA advertisements via AdValiant.  I combined that with some PPC campagins and generated some profits that way.   I also paid dearly while figuring out Google Adwords.

Probably the website that boosted our finances the quickest and most dramatically was 1stClassReplicas.com.  This was a tangible items website where we sold replica designer handbags and had them drop-shipped from China.  Unfortunately we were compelled to quit after only a few months because we discovered that selling knock-offs was a no-no.  Call me naive, but I thought that you could sell knock-off items as long as they were clearly advertised as such.  I was wrong.   Mistakes are going to happen along the way when you get into marketing, and that was one of them.  The income was great though.

I’d like to clarify that I haven’t been making a tangible income via the internet all the way back to the fall of 2005.  I started with affiliate marketing, then added PlayKillerGuitar.com in May, 2006 while spending most of that year surfing the internet for information on how to get started.  This included researching and learning all that I could about marketing and ecommerce, but never taking any "real" action on promoting my tutorials beyond eBay or building a real business.

I bought into all the guru hype, the latest and greatest opportunities, and hung out on those cheesy forums where everybody is an "expert" at nothing.   It wasn’t until early 2007 that I really began to get serious and start getting my game on.  I discovered James Brausch’s Internet Business Blog back in late 2006 while searching for copywriting "how to" info.  There was a reference on some forum to a 24 hour special for Glyphius (that was long expired), but that was the day that changed my future.  It was James who showed me the light and help to shape my future as a real internet entrepreneur.   I haven’t attained James’ level of freedom yet.  I am still on the path to it.

Comfortable?  Relatively, but not really free yet.  I promised my wife that I would remain at least partially enslaved until my internet income was consistently double my District income.  Free, yes in another sense of the word.  I can now drive to my office everyday knowing that I can walk away anytime I choose and still be fine with my income.  It’s a good feeling to know that one person can’t take away my entire income just by uttering two words… "you’re fired!"

If I want to travel back to China for a visit, I can buy a ticket, update my travel visa and go.  My wife, Tingting is Chinese so her values of going to college and getting a J.O.B. and keeping it for life are strongly ingrained into her mindset.  This is the way that you maintain respectability among your peers and family in China.  She has been in the U.S. for almost 2 years and is only now beginning to see the light.  I have a feeling that she will be releasing me from my promise before we hit the "double" mark.

Once you hit that level of "critical mass", it becomes more expensive to trade your valuable time for money at a J.O.B..  In reality, it’s more expensive to keep your J.O.B. long before critical mass is reached.  This is much easier to "see" once your over the fence, so if you’re still employed, have debts, and not prospering on your own yet, then this is a very difficult concept to grasp or even believe.

Internet business is a fun and exciting journey.  If you are still stuck in "learning mode", caught in the TV vortex, or a terminal forum and info junkie, you have to bust out of it before you can even consider starting!   Take it from someone who has been there.   These habits and traits are only self-defeating excuses that your old (or present) self is using to keep you from succeeding.  These habits are comfortable.

As a continuous researcher, or forum junkie, you can justify to yourself why your business isn’t running yet.  You are still "learning", and market researching, and making sure everything is perfect first.  What you’re really saying is that you don’t believe that you are good or worthy enough to do this.  You don’t want to fail or screw up at it.  Well here’s a reality check… you WILL screw some things up and make some bad decisions.  You WILL make mistakes!!!  Get over it.  Did the Olympic figure skaters never fall down while perfecting their art?  You only see the end result, not all the times that they face planted themselves into the ice.  Throw away those excuses.  Start today…no, I didn’t say tomorrow, start right now!

No Regrets

January 21st, 2008 3 Comments

As I was driving through town today, I passed by the local cemetery as I do many times during the week.  At the same time, I was listening to the radio in which the announcer had been talking about Martin Luther King day and some of the accomplishments that were made by this great man in his short life.   I couldn't help but to wonder about those of whom were lying under the headstones as they were passing by my passenger window.  Each stone in that cemetery represents an entire lifetime of experiences.  Some very long while others were cut much too short.  Dr. King was one such example.  He achieved a level of greatness, and brought about huge strides in civil rights through peaceful means.  Triumphing over racial bigotry and oppression in even the most ignorant regions of the south.   He had a lot more to accomplish, but instead was struck down in his prime.  Even being cut down at an early time, his accomplishments in changing the collective mindset were astounding.

Suppose that this was your last day on the planet?  Any regrets other than the obvious one of leaving too soon?  Everybody wants to see their children grow up, have a long life with their spouse or get married if they're still single, etc.  But let's set all that aside, and just focus on your accomplishments.  As you're drifting up towards the clouds and looking down upon the earth, can you say that what you did accomplish was worth while?  Was it on the track with your goals?  Maybe you worked 60 hour weeks at a J.O.B. and only saw your wife in passing as you headed towards the bedroom for a nights sleep while she was on her way out to work the night shift at some convenience store, plant, or hospital.  No regrets?  Could you have worked on some plan to make your lives better?  A situation like this can suck the life and creativity right out of you, which is all the more reason to take action and change it.

Don't get caught up in the "comfort" of the hypnotic state of TV watching, or spending hours on end playing the free games on the internet.  Let's say you make it to the ripe old age of 90 something and you're laying on your deathbed reflecting back on your life.  Are you going to wish that you spent more time with your family?  That you watched less TV?  Will you wish that you could have done something different with all those years that you were playing Warcraft online?  Are you going to wonder what would have happened if only you would have stayed focused on building your business?  Or will you look back thinking "no regrets!"?

The Missing Ingredient

January 15th, 2008 1 Comment

galaxyA couple years ago a movie/documentary came out that was quite popular called "The Secret".  It was quite popular and controversial at the same time.  Some thought it was life transforming while others thought was a complete crock.  The Secret dealt with the law of attraction and how you can use it to achieve anything you wish in life.  I'm referring to "The Secret" in this post because there are many people who equate (either negatively or positively) the law of attraction with what they picked up in the movie.  This was an introduction to the concept for many.  I first studied this waaaaayyyy back in the 1980's!  Ok, now I'm dating myself.

In fact, so many have been introduced to the law of attraction via "The Secret", its the very reason that I'm writing this post.  I would like to address one important thing about the movie.  In my opinion, unless I missed something along the way, the movie seemed to cover everything except the actual secret itself!  You couldn't help but to walk away feeling inspired and having a sense that anything was now possible, but that's about all.

Visualizing your desires, programming your mindset to "live" in the reality that you want to create is only half of the picture.  Taking action is a most essential ingredient and was barely touched upon, if at all, in the movie.  I can just imagine thousands of people getting inspired and then beginning a routine of visualizing new beginnings in their lives, then, after nothing much happening for results, going back to the same old thing.  Action is what gets results!

 Here's the Key:

The visualization and reality shifting side of it is what gets the energies in motion.  Everything is created in a non-physical form BEFORE it ever reaches the physical realm (including us, but that's another story).  This is where the visualization and reality shifting comes into play.  Once you create this in the non physical realm, then various signs, opportunities, etc., will begin to manifest themselves.  This is the point where you must recognize these things and seize the opportunity, or pursue the new friend who has stumbled into your life.  Whatever the manifestation, this is the result of what you created and it is trying to materialize into physical reality.  Now, by taking action, you are pulling your creation into your physical reality.  If you ignore it, some other signs will appear for awhile until you either act, or continue to ignore it.  If you simply ignore these things which are now coming your way in everyday life, then eventually your creation will dissipate and stay in the non-physical until you bring it back to life again and act.

If you follow these steps, you can't fail.  Really huge shifts sometimes take multiple actions to pull every component into reality.  This is most easily done by goal setting.  For example, if you're living in your car (like I did back in 1986) and you want to become a millionaire, then most likely its going to take multiple steps to make your reality.  Build smaller components into your reality that lead up to your ultimate goal, which is always visualized, even while visualizing your "stepping stones".   Each component should build upon the other.  Pull them into reality one by one and you will arrive.  Its the law of the universe and it is just as real as the invisible electricity that you feel when you stick your finger in the light socket (P.S. - Don't stick your finger in the light socket!).   Sure, you can visualize winning the lottery, but is it in your best interest to develop your spirit?  Probably not.  Life is about growing through challenge and experience.  A winning lotto ticket, although not impossible, probably won't cut it.

Now that you have the keys, take it out for a spin and see where it takes you!

The Distraction Attraction

January 14th, 2008 4 Comments

law of attractionProbably one of the biggest challenges in running your own internet business (or nearly anything requiring self discipline for that matter) is fending off the distractions.  None of us are immune to it.  I've let myself take my eye off the ball more than once as I fell prey to distractions.

Back in 2005, I decided that I wanted to get into the world of online business.  I started out the way most probably do.  I would spend hours surfing the net for information.  Hang out in the forums and buy all the latest products that offered the magic button that would do it all for me.  You know, the marketing equivalent of the "easy button".   Other products would include the "how to" stuff.  Surprisingly, many of the info products did have some valuable information within them.  The key was applying that info.  Only 2% ever really apply what they learn anyway.

Well, now I was armed with lots of knowledge, it was time to turn it into experience.  Let's see…  hmmmm, I like playing guitar & I kick butt on Van Halen's Eruption, why not make a video tutorial?  Yeah, my first product!  I sat down to map out my strategy with the TV playing in the background.  Eventually, the program playing in the background was so "interesting" that I watched the rest of it.  Ok, the first night is shot.  The next night I left the TV off. Now to get down to business, but first, I better check my email.  Hmmm, an interesting new post in the forums.  Better go check it out.  Before I knew it, I blew another couple hours.  Other distractions seemed to come at me everyday.  The phone, email, friends dropping in.  It was a continuous cycle.

After about 5 weeks, I was still no closer to starting my tutorial.  I looked back and began to ponder my situation.  I realized that I had just wasted over 5 weeks of my life that I could have dedicated to my new pursuit.  That 5 weeks was gone forever, never to be recovered.  I began to realize that I was actually welcoming these distractions!  I was programmed for failure.  I was one of the typical 98% who get involved with internet business.  I knew that if I were to have any chance of success, then a radical alteration of my thought patterns was in order.

I knew that I had to develop a procedure for eliminating distractions and begin focusing on the task at hand.  I set aside 3 to 4 hours a day to dedicate solely to my business, starting with my guitar tutorial.   Since my J.O.B. already consumed 8 + hours of my day, I was only left with about 4 good hours. The first thing to eliminate was the TV.  TV is the single most destructive device that you can have in your house.  By eliminating the TV factor, I easily had freed up a couple hours.  I was never much of a TV watcher, beyond the Discovery & History Channel, but distraction is distraction.  I had also unplugged the phone & let friends & family know that I would not be available during these hours.  Email was not to be viewed until my work was completed for the day.  At some point, I had also deleted the forums from my bookmarks.  I had read a post by James Brausch on the evils of the forums and how one's income was inversely proportional to the number of posts they had under their belt.  This made perfect sense to me, once it was pointed out.

It was amazing how quickly I had my first product ready after following these simple steps!  Now it was getting exciting!  I started out on eBay while I was getting my website together.  I already had a Paypal account that I opened around 1999 or 2000. I soon opened a Clickbank account upon completion of playkillerguitar.com.

The transformation was staggering! I was getting things done and making money at the same time.  I was learning that the best way to learn was not from the forums, it was by DOING!!! Once I realized this everything changed.  The 2% crowd are doers.  The 2%ers don't think about taking action, they just take it.  If you find yourself caught up in this distraction cycle and actually enjoying it, then you must make a decision.  Are you going to waste another day? Another week, or even another year?  Where do you want to be in January 2009?  Give it some serious thought and decide whether you really want to break off your romance with that deceptively pleasurable thing called distraction.  If you do, you won't regret it.  Your biggest barrier to success will finally be yesterday's history lesson!

Reality Shift!!!

December 28th, 2007 9 Comments

How is your reality?  Is it a wonderful life?  Interesting? Comfortable? Do you see a world full of beauty, joy and abundance?  Perhaps you perceive quite the opposite.  A world of scarcity. A cold universe where survival of the fittest is the only rule.  Negative people everywhere seemingly waiting in line just to make you their next punching bag.  How can it be that two people can have such opposing views of reality?

Maybe person "A" in the positive universe was just born under a lucky star.  Some people have all the luck, right?  Person "B" (negative universe) thinks that he was just randomly picked by God to get the "shaft" in life in order to keep balance in the universe.  Doesn't seem very fair to person "B" does it?  Let's call person "B" Fred and person "A" Bob.

Fred can't help but to dwell on his situation day after day.  The lack of money, and the abundance of bills are the norm.  He can't get out of the situation because it takes money to break the cycle.  When a little money does comes along, that's when something happens, like the car taking a dump, or the water heater exploding.  The old "two steps forward, then pushed three steps back" scenario.   When it rains, it pours, and all that.

Bob, on the other hand has a life full of abundance.  He sees a world full of friendly people.  Bob knows that negative things exist out there, but just like Fred, he dwells on his own reality all the time.  His focus is on abundance and happiness.  Taking action on his goals and seeing them come into reality on a regular basis.  If a goal doesn't get accomplished, then Bob will simply try a different approach until he succeeds.  Fred will give up after the first try and go back to watching TV until some opportunity may happen to fall into his lap.

Now we're starting to see a pattern here.  Fred dwells on his reality and keeps the negative cycle going by feeding it every day.  Thinking about the bills and tight budget all the time.  Wondering when the next disaster will come that will suck more cash away on payday.  By expecting the next disaster, he is unconsciously creating them and funneling them right into his universe.

Bob also dwells on his reality and keeps the positive cycle going by feeding it every day.  Thinking about new ideas to increase his business.  Working on ways to achieve even more freedom so that he can spend time with his wife & kids.  Knowing that money won't be a problem, because he can make it anytime he wishes.  The money side of things is just a "given" and a natural by-product of his reality.

Bob attracts positive people into his life while Fred attracts negative people & "friends" into his life.  This is a natural result of the law of attraction.  This is a universal law that applies to everyone.  "As ye sow, so shall ye reap" could apply here as well. Where you focus is the key!  The natural step that Fred would probably take to improve his life would be to affirm to himself, "I want to aquire more income so I can get out of this debt!".  Do you think that sticking to this affirmation will propel Fred out of his negative universe?  Yes?  I say, not likely.  Why?  The affirmation to make more money & get out of debt seems like the right direction, right?  Wrong!  Are you crazy Jack?  Why not?!  The reason is because Fred is STILL focusing on his current reality… scarcity & debt!

Fred doesn't get it yet.  He is still in the dream world and hasn't yet awoke from the fog.  Years of brainwashing is not easy to undo, so it must take something drastic.  You must be prepared to accept the consequences of taking the "red pill".  Even though they're good consequences.  Fred needs a reality shift!  Fred needs to start thinking within the reality that he wants to achieve.  Fred must make his current reality become the old reality.  Fred needs to dwell on the end result.  Abundance and freedom!

After reading this blog post, Fred is starting to get it.  He begins to visualize everyday of having abundance in his life and feels this abundance already coming into his current reality.  He starts thinking about the "big goal" that he wants to achieve.  Fred realizes that by setting a series of smaller goals, he can use each of them as stepping stones towards his ultimate goal.  Every accomplished stepping stone will bring him one step closer to the finish line!  Fred continues this trend everyday. As a result, Fred begins to start thinking in new ways.  Ways that were foreign to him just a short week ago.  Ideas begin to flow and new opportunities arise that will offer a way out.  Fred will soon realize that he must filter out the negative "friends" in his life and gravitate towards positive success oriented people.

Fred also keeps his new found technique a secret.  There is personal power in a secret that you keep to yourself for improving your life.  Keeping this secret will also keep negative feedback and static at bay from the other negative people that were previously attracted into Fred's life.  This is very important as you shift your reality.  Fred also prays for wisdom and guidance.  The universe, God, higher power, whatever you want to call it is now opening the door simply because he asked.  It is his responsibility to recognize and act upon the opportunities that are now arising in his everyday life.  Often times these are subtle, so you need to look for them and act upon them immediately!

Fred has made a conscious effort to shift his reality into a better one.  Like sliding down a chute into a new parallel reality, he instantly feels this "shift" while visualizing his desired future.  You will feel this shift too, if you simply make the decision to do it, feel it, and ask for help from your higher power to put you there.   Remember, "the Lord helps those who help themselves".  You must take action to recognize and create your tomorrows as these ideas and opportunities arise.

Now this may sound like a bunch of hocus-pocus hogwash to some people, but did you know that quantum mechanics have shown and proven that probability waves actually collapse when observed?!  There is a direct correlation between consciousness and our physical reality.

Once you understand the concept of reality shifting, you will realize your infinite power as a co-creater of your universe.  It's an amazing feeling and its much easier than living in a rut.  Why not give it a try?  Go ahead, shift your reality and see where it takes you!

Are You Ready To Be Successful?

September 18th, 2007 No Comments

Everybody has their own ideas of success.  To some its having a ton of money. To others it may be a happy family life, to others health & happiness, or maybe its a combination of all or more of these factors.

Are you getting to where you want to be?  Maybe you're already there.  If not, what would you consider your biggest obstacle?  Is it getting motivated?  Maybe you don't feel qualified to take action.  Maybe staying in a cycle of eternal learning mode is comfortable.  This, for many is the perfect excuse to avoid success.  You can easily deceive yourself into thinking that you are taking real action because you are investing your time, energy & money into your future.  But are you really serious about building your future, or are you simply an info junkie looking for your next fix?

Think about this for a moment.  If you're constantly "learning" but never actually applying the concepts, then your desired "future" will always remain in the future.  Only by taking action on an idea or desire can you bring that future into your present reality.

If you're not happy with your current situation, you should realize that you created it with your past actions, or more likely, inactions.  Today will soon be the past.  Tomorrow will soon be the present.  Did you build towards your future "present" by taking some sort of positive action today?  Maybe you'd rather catch that action movie on TV tonight instead.  If so, then tomorrow should be pretty much the same as today.  Rinse & repeat until you die.  Don't like that idea?  Then do something about it.

Sometimes all we have to do is find a motivating factor to keep pushing us onto success.  Here's my motivating factor.

Here's my other motivating factor:

Need I say more?

Whatever your motivating factor, start actively building your future, even if your vision is not 100% clear.  Often times its the "push" that gets the creative juices flowing and the vision solid.  Decide on a product, create a product, build a blog, a website, sign up for an affiliate or CPA program.  Anything, just do something to begin the process of change in your future.  Now keep going.  The future will be your present much sooner than you think.  Make it a good one!
