<description>Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you&#039;re not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were.</description>

		<description>Thanks for your comments, Jack,

It appears that we have very similar philosophical backgrounds and experiences.

		<description>Hi George,
Thanks for such an insightful &amp; valuable comment. :D

I probably have married Eastern with Western thinking paradigms unconsciously. Many aspects of eastern philosophy intuitively make perfect sense to me as does various aspects of Western thought.

When I was younger, I simply took it as coincidental that these schools of thought just happen to gel with my own which have been a part of me for as long as I can remember, LOL.

George, I think that you are exactly right. I believe that fear is the number 1 killer of dreams. We all have the same physiological makeup, including our brains.

The only thing that stops us is, well... us.

		<description>Hi Jack,

I really enjoy your posts! You have the lucid ability to look at highly complex issues clearly, and I admire that in you.

I suspect that you’ve managed to &quot;marry&quot; Eastern with Western Thinking paradigms.

I have personally enjoyed long periods of productivity and other periods (thankfully shorter in duration) where I procrastinated terribly and accomplished very little, if anything.

I’ve spent a lot of time attempting to understand why I would hit those rough patches of procrastination.

And, I came to realize that those periods were created by fear! As you know, there are two basic emotions that generate the myriad of emotions we experience – love and fear.

When we experience fear, for whatever personal reason, one of the results can be lack of focus, lack of productivity. If that’s the case, and until it’s resolved, our efforts can be very scattered and difficult to converge.

This is a complex area – and one that can’t be treated lightly – but the techniques that have worked for me are meditation and energy psychology.

Thanks again for a great post.
